Finalist's Announced. Congratulations to each of
the three shortlisted finalists for all categories for the 2008
Independent Healthcare Awards. This year’s decisions were
extremely difficult to make, as we have had hundreds of entries,
all of such a high standard.

The Event
For the third consecutive year, Laing & Buisson is proud to
present the 2008 Independent Healthcare Awards. This event exists
to highlight the range of achievement within the independent health
and care sector, and to pay tribute to those individuals and teams
that have demonstrated excellence in their particular fields.
As the leading independent provider of market intelligence to
the independent sector, and as publisher of esteemed newsletters
Healthcare Market News and Community Care Market News, Laing &
Buisson is ideally placed to host these awards. Building on the
success of the 2006 and 2007 Awards, Laing & Buisson intends
to continue to showcase the professional skills, management leadership
and spirit of enterprise within this fast-growing and rapidly-evolving
independent health and care sector.
The awards will be presented by Jo Brand at a prestigious Gala Dinner in London
in September 2008 – a process to find, evaluate and judge
the best the sector has to offer will take place beforehand.

The Gala Dinner
The three finalists in each of 13 categories
of award will be invited to attend the Gala Dinner, whilst the
organisation nominating each of the finalists will be invited
